Are you ready for this jelly?

This is the newest product from Philip Kingsley and it’s the Vitamin C Jelly Detoxifying Hair and Scalp treatment.

I adore scalp treatments because I colour my hair and use lots of hair masks.

This treatment works by removing impurities via the Vitamin C, and it dissolves away the built up residues, pollutions and mineral impurities both on and below the hairs cuticle. Vitamin C is typically used on the skin but it’s also a benefit to the hair too. This is a pre-shampoo treatment.

It’s fun to make the jelly – simply pop the powder in the container that comes with it and add water up to the fill line. Give it a good shake & then add it on the scalp of your wet hair. After, give your scalp a quick massage and leave this in for 5 mins. Shampoo and condition like usual.

The jelly has a nice fragrance and I love the pinkness. It doesn’t tingle and I appreciate the quickness of only leaving it on for 5 mins. As soon as I washed it out and applied my shampoo, I noticed my hair was silky smooth. This is a lovely addition to my hair routine and you only need to use it once every 2 weeks – I will be repurchasing. Please note that if you colour your hair, you have to wait for 3 washes before you use this. You wait 1-2 days after to use the Elasticizer because it will penetrate better.
