As you may be aware, I’ve been decorating my home.
I was considering replacing my bedroom side table but I decided to give it a revamp instead.
I prepared the wood with wood primer, and 24hrs later I applied black gloss to it. It needed two coats.
For the pullout draw I wanted to add a little texture so I used left over wallpaper from my living room (see black crocodile wallpaper collaboration post with @your4walls.co.uk )

I wanted to wallpaper the front side only of the draw. I simply lay the wallpaper on the floor and put the draw on top, with the front side facing the wallpaper. Using a pencil, I drew round the draw to get the shape and then cut.
Using a adhesive, I stuck the wallpaper on the front of the draw. For the hole, I pierced a cut and fanned out the ends so that they sat inside the draw.
