Kill Bill was the film that kicked off my Japanese Love, and my favourite film of all time. I was determined to visit Japan and find me a Samuari. Kill Bill is full of cool outfits, strong feminine leads and beautiful violence. If you liked Kill Bill, you must watch The Raid and The Raid 2 because the fight scenes are 🙌

The first time I visited Tokyo, I went to the Gonpachi restaurant, which is also known as The Kill Bill restaurant and I was not disappointed. Apparently Quentin visited this restaurant and it inspired the Kill Bill restaurant scene. The service was quick and I was in awe of the Kill Bill vibes.

I had also heard of an Kill Bill bar in Golden Gai/Tokyo, so of course I had to check this out. I read that Quentin occasionally popped in this bar. It was one of the most quirkiness bars I have ever been to, so naturally I loved it.

It’s not just bars that are quirky in Japan, it’s everything! In Japan, thought I’d put into everything from the ground to cranes! What’s not to love about that.
